The Bank of Eagle was the financial backbone for Eagle farmers and businessmen. With the many failures of banks in the past, the Bank of Eagle assured customers that they were financially strong and didn’t make foolish speculative investments like others had. Henry Loibl was the bank president.

Equipment repairs were important for farmers to keep up with the planting and harvesting of their fields. Smart Brothers offered their services to the area.

August Belling’s Eagle Meat Market was busy and successful in Eagle for 60 years until he retired in 1960.

The invention of the telephone spread across the nation and Eagle joined in with the newly formed Eagle Telephone Company, organized by E.J. Lins, H.M. Loibl, and F. Abendroth in 1902.
