  1. How I enjoyed these photos. A relative of mine, Horace Clemons, was Station Agent there, for some years. 1859-1911.
I have been researching the family history, and am delighted to find these photos and the obituary. Would love to see more. Thank you for preserving the past; I am most grateful.

  2. I enjoy the site. But the pictures are not opening for me.

  3. How wonderful to see these pictures. My Great Grandfather Henry Shortell worked for the Chicago Milwaukee Road. Breakman, fireman, and he was given many, many safety awards. Thank You.

  4. To Whom It May Concern:
I have been researching my family ancestry and I have hit a kind of a road block. My great grandmother, Marion Vrooman, was married to 3 people from Eagle; Henry Witte in 1889, George W Henry 1892 (listed as a railroad engineer in the 1900 Census) and lastly Stephen Vrooman some time before 1907 who was a traveling salesman. Anyway, I can’t seem to find out much about any of them, but I wondered if you would have any record of George W Henry as an engineer? I don’t know which railroad he worked for. If you would have any information I would appreciate it. Thank you.

  7. My first memory of the train Depot was when my family came into Eagle from a very long trip and I put a penny on the track which the engine then ran over thus flattening it.That was June 1937.
