Thanks to the hard work of contractors, volunteers, and donors, our new conference room addition is finished and we recently held our first Eagle Historical Society Board meeting there! Previous meetings took place on the second floor which meant climbing stairs. The new meeting room is on the first floor and easily accessible to all who visit.
Our new conference room will be named “Vernette Heare Conference Room” to honor Vernette Heare for her generous financial donation which allowed us to begin this incredible “wish-list” project. That, along with the generous financial contributions of many other building fund donors, allowed us to build and complete this project.
As a measure of thanks, we are having a beautiful plaque made that will list the names and contribution levels of each person who donated money for this project. The plaque will be placed on a wall in our conference room as a permanent way of saying “Thank You”.
You Can Still Have Your Name Added
If you would like your name added to this plaque showing that you helped complete this project, you still have time. We will send our final design to the plaque company the first week of May, so you have until the 1st of May to get your name included. Please send your generous donation to Eagle Historical Society – PO Box 454 – Eagle, WI 53119.
Do it Today!
