The Eagle Historical Society will host their Annual Veterans’ Recognition on Saturday, June 1 at 1 pm.  The theme this year is Celebrating the Service of Non-Combat Soldiers. The featured speaker will be John Hall, Professor of U.S. Military History at the UW-Madison. 

Also sharing memories will be a veteran who served in Germany and an Army Signals Intelligence Analyst and member of the Marine Corps Band. 

The Kettle Moraine Blues will perform patriotic music, refreshments will be served, and visitors will be invited to tour a traveling exhibit from the Wisconsin Veterans Museum entitled “Working Warriors.”  

The museum, located at 217 East Main Street in Eagle, will also be open on Friday, May 31, from 9 am to noon and Saturday and Sunday, June 1 and 2, from noon to 4 pm.
