On Thursday November 14th, EHS volunteers visited Rolling Hills Elementary School with an Eagle Historical Society “Road Show” that included:
1. The Story of the Eagle Diamond.
2. Tools of the Trade – where artifacts depicting various occupations were grouped, for kids to identify the occupation.
3. Digging Up the Past – An introduction to Archaeology where kids got to examine rocks with fossil imprints and see Native American arrowheads found in Eagle. They also got to examine and identify opjects buried in the EHS yard that were found using a metal detector.
