The Ice Cream Social and Concert by the Palmyra-Eagle Community Band was an extraordinary success with crowd estimates at about 400 people!  We also had over 30 WWII vets in attendance.  More about all of that in a future post.

We’d like to thank Miss Catey and Mr. Woods from Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Wales who demonstrated 1940’s style “swing dancing”.  They were great and brought back wonderful memories to those who remember dancing at the Eagle’s Ballroom in Milwaukee back in the ’40’s.
